Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, designers, subcontractors, and vendors.
  • Lead the implementation of the Zero-Injury Safety Program on the job site.
  • Interpret and enforce compliance with drawings, specifications, and contract terms for all construction activities.
  • Ensure built-in quality through the application of a three-phase quality control process.
  • Develop and manage on-site logistics for optimal efficiency.
  • Oversee daily project schedules and coordinate all field operations to keep projects on track.
  • Facilitate daily site-wide huddles and Plan of the Day meetings to ensure team alignment.
  • Monitor and control project costs proactively to maintain budgetary goals.
  • Utilize advanced construction management and project systems such as AutoDesk Build, Procore, and Phoenix.
  • Mentor and support the professional development of staff members on-site.
  • Assist in interviewing, hiring, and managing the performance of direct reports.
  • Perform additional duties as required to support project success.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction or a comparable role.
  • Advanced education, training, or certifications in construction management or related disciplines.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Working knowledge of current construction technologies and systems (AutoDesk Build, Procore, Phoenix, etc.).
  • Experience using Lean Construction principles, Flow scheduling, and the three-phase control process.
  • Proven track record in maintaining compliance with safety policies and standards.
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, and managing direct reports, including performance management.
