Clearance Requirement:

Cleared or uncleared. Candidates without clearance must be eligible to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.


Important Note: Candidates must have at least 2 years of stability in their previous projects.


Skills Required:

  • Creating, writing, and managing technical requirements

  • Experience in one of the following areas: RF systems, Flight Systems, GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control), Landing Systems, Signal Processing


Position Overview: The Systems Engineer will engage in systems engineering activities to ensure the successful delivery of a new signal and data processing capability. The candidate should have 4+ years of formal software or systems engineering experience in areas including architectural design, requirements decomposition, integration and testing (I&T), and verification and validation (V&V). A solid understanding of client-server architectures and networking techniques and protocols is essential. The role requires close collaboration with software developers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Architectural design of electronic systems or subsystems
  • Requirements analysis and decomposition
  • External and internal interface design and validation
  • Hardware/software, subsystem, and system integration
  • Verification and validation (V&V) planning and execution
  • Specialty engineering (reliability, availability, maintainability, and human systems integration)
  • Development of deliverable products and other artifacts

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Four (4) or more years of experience in software or systems engineering activities

Desired Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Aerospace Engineering
  • Experience with GNSS (GPS, Galileo)
  • Proficiency with Linux, C/C++, MATLAB, and IBM DOORS
  • Experience in RF communications systems development and testing
  • Knowledge of RF communications systems theory, including analog/digital modulation/demodulation
  • Knowledge of GNC (Guidance, Navigation, and Control)
  • Understanding of real-time embedded landing systems
  • Familiarity with signal processing algorithms/techniques
  • Experience with safety assurance processes and engineers
  • Experience in performing failure modes and effects analysis
