What We Offer

Azure Summit Technology provides a comprehensive array of multi-channel software-defined radio products, innovative signal processing solutions, and complete mission payloads and systems for a wide range of advanced RF applications, including electronic warfare (EW), radar, communications, and multi-mode RF operations. Our systems can be customized to meet various specifications regarding bandwidth, dynamic range, channel count, and computational resources. We support platforms ranging from small UAVs and wearable devices to manned aircraft and maritime vessels.

Your Role

We are currently in search of a Software Systems Engineer to join our dynamic, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position will be based at our headquarters, with occasional travel required. The successful candidate will engage in the research and development of complex SIGINT, EW, radar, communications, and other RF mission systems. Responsibilities will encompass all facets of software engineering, including:

  • Requirements analysis and specification
  • Software design, implementation, and integration
  • Testing and installation
  • Building, testing, and deploying hardware components
  • Troubleshooting to isolate defects at both unit and system levels
  • Implementing and deploying solutions
  • Supporting system configuration, including test equipment and hardware components
  • Developing test plans, cases, and procedures
  • Other assigned duties

The ideal candidate will also engage in embedded Linux development, algorithm exploration, and DSP architecture definition.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship is required due to the nature of the work
  • SECRET security clearance is necessary due to contract requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Computer, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent military experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience with Information Operations/Warfare systems or C4ISR systems, including software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with peers and clients
  • Experience with signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems
