Our client is one of the largest and leading real estate developers and operators in the United States. This role is a critical position and offers the opportunity to impact key investment decisions within a dynamic and growth-focused real estate environment.


The Analytics Analyst is tasked with integrating technology and financial analysis to facilitate data-driven insights and spearhead continuous enhancements in the investment decision-making process. This role demands adeptness in using various software and database applications to build analytical models, dashboards, and other tools that improve investment and reporting processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and eventually lead initiatives to create research and analytical tools, providing strategic recommendations on potential investments.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement projects to refine analytical methods used in the investment process, FP&A, and reporting needs.
  • Utilize existing data, technology, and resources to enhance the investment process and decision-making capabilities.
  • Promote and lead technology and systems-based improvements across the organization, working closely with IT and other key stakeholders.
  • Analyze economic, industry, and corporate data to offer insights on market trends and other factors influencing investment decisions.
  • Develop tailored analytical models and reports for ad-hoc situations, ensuring consistency, replicability, and delegation readiness.
  • Engage and partner with leadership across all corporate functions to drive data-driven strategies.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management, or Statistics preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Power BI, or Tableau; knowledge of Python is a plus.
  • Technical expertise in data models, database design, development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Solid understanding of statistics with experience in statistical packages (Excel, SPSS, SAS, etc.).
