Position Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and driven Associate Attorney to join our team. This role involves meeting with clients, drafting and reviewing estate planning documents, and providing guidance on trust administration, probate, and other related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

●     Meet with clients to discuss their estate planning needs and provide advice on estate, gift, GST, and income tax matters.

●     Draft and review estate planning documents, including revocable trusts, special needs trusts, wills, powers of attorney, and health care directives.

●     Advise clients on funding their trusts and ensure the funding process is completed.

●     Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to manage trust administrations and probate cases.

●     Communicate with clients in person, via mail, email, Zoom, and telephone to keep matters moving forward and address client      needs promptly.

What You Should Have:

●     J.D. degree and active attorney license in California.

●     2-5 years of relevant estate planning experience.

●     Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.

●     Compassion and understanding towards the senior and special needs community.

●     Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to prioritize tasks.

●     Proficiency with relevant software programs such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and case management software.

●     Experience with WealthDocx drafting program is a plus.

●     Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

●     A good sense of humor and a positive attitude.
