Information Technology Engineer

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • IT operations for Nfina HQ and colocations
  • Cybersecurity operations for Nfina HQ and colocations
  • Support Nfina products via phone, email, ticketing, and remote control.
  • Support Nfina managed IT customers via phone, email, ticketing, and remote control.
  • Documentation of IT environments and workflows.
  • Secondary duties may include assistance within manufacturing, software development, and QA departments when necessary.


Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Ability to quickly assimilate technical and functional knowledge of Nfina product solutions
  • 3+ years of IT related job experience required
  •  Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, network administration, network security, and endpoint security.
  • Experience with cloud networking architecture, visualization, and automation
  • Proven capacity for thinking leadership and a highly creative problem-solver
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to express technical information clearly at different organizational levels
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • High level of proficiency with network security technologies.
  • High level of proficiency with operating systems, networks, servers, and databases
  • High level of proficiency with VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V
  • High level of proficiency with Enterprise storage solutions and backup products.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Go, Python, Perl
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills required
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal communication, written communication, and relationship building skillsets.


Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of IT related job experience required


Location and Travel Requirements

Location: Onsite in Mobile, AL USA; Travel may be occasionally required 


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times.
  • Ability to distinguish various colors of wires and distinguish electronic system sections and wiring.


Salary and Package:

Salary and package are competitive and commensurate with experience.
