The Senior Design and Operations Engineer for Concrete Plants is responsible for contributing to the design, development, and optimization of concrete plants, ensuring their efficient and safe operation. This role includes assisting in the supervision of the drawings and designs of other engineers and collaborating with various departments to ensure compliance with quality standards and technical specifications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Development:
  • Contribute to the design of new concrete plants and the improvement of existing ones.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of the operation of plants, ensuring efficiency and operational safety.
  • Perform design calculations and assist in the selection of appropriate equipment and materials for the plants.
  1. Supervision and Coordination:
  • Support the supervision and review of the drawings and designs produced by other engineers.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure consistency and accuracy in designs.
  • Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and local and international regulations.
  1. Project Management:
  • Assist in planning and managing design and development projects from conception to implementation.
  • Help establish timelines and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including production, sales, and maintenance, to ensure the feasibility and efficiency of projects.
  1. Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
  • Research and apply new technologies and methodologies in the design and operation of concrete plants.
  • Propose and implement continuous improvements in design and operation processes.
  • Stay updated with trends and advancements in the construction and concrete industry.
  1. Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
  • Ensure all designs and operations are carried out in accordance with best practices for safety and sustainability.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in the design and operation of concrete plants or similar facilities.
  • In-depth knowledge of structural design, concrete production systems, and industrial machinery.
  • Advanced skills in design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Experience in project management and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
