About the Company:

We make a full range of distribution equipment, including, but not limited to, Panelboards up to 2000A, Service and Distribution Switchboards up to 8000A, Generator connection boxes, Generator output switchboards, and Single- and Double-Ended Substations. We can custom design a product to meet customer-specific applications and requirements.


Position Summary

Lincoln Electric Products Co. Inc. seeks a Switchboard Project Manager to join its dynamic team. This role is available immediately and provides a great growth opportunity for the right candidate. It is a full-time, exempt position, and the candidate will report directly to the Project Manager-Supervisor.


The successful candidate will provide post-sales support for various electrical distribution projects and ensure the project deliverables are presented on time and to the customer’s satisfaction.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the initial design and project Management Of Electrical Distribution Equipment, including Panelboards, Switchboards and Circuit Breaker.


The individual will plan, direct, and coordinate the activities of the designated project to ensure that the project's goals or objectives are accomplished within the prescribed time frame.

Performs all work within an established time frame and ensures that work is done in conformance with quality work standards, projected man-hours, within established Company guidelines and regulatory compliance requirements.


Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales, engineering, and manufacturing teams.
  • Designing and drawing Switchboards/ Panelboards.
  • Reviewing outgoing engineering submittal drawings for technical and contractual accuracy.
  • Evaluating and interpreting customer specifications and drawings to create an accurate bill of materials.
  • Providing phone support and direct interaction with customers and employees to obtain sales
  • Reviewing returned drawings and submittals of same, analyzing and processing mark-up/comments, and communicating changes to the internal and external stakeholders
  • Review contract documents and interpret technical specifications to ensure product compliance and prepare change order pricing and quotations if needed.
  • Coordinate and facilitate the completion of Short Circuit and Coordination Studies.
  • Releasing equipment for production and delivery to an in-house shop.
  • Coordinating deliveries with customers.
  • Enter orders into the company ERP software system.
  • Configure and order long lead time major materials/components for the project.
  • Perform visits to survey site layout and logistical challenges as needed.
  • Provide post-sales support for equipment.


Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of five years within the Switchboard and Panelboards.
  • Mastering knowledge of electrical power systems
  • Good knowledge about Switchboard Industry UL standard UL891,UL1558, UL67,UL50, UL50E etc.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel.
  • Ability to collaborate with team members.
