Summary - Job Responsibilities – Activities:

Assemble, modify, test, and adjust custom mechanical assemblies.

Functions:

• Lifting to 75 pounds may be required.

• Read and understand blueprints, drawings, wiring diagrams, mechanical prints, assembly and

schematic drawings, and receive verbal instructions on work to be performed.

• Fasten, align, and mount parts, components, relays, using hand and power tools. Route and

terminate cables.

• Attach hardware using nuts, bolts, rivets, screws, or other methods. Cut, bend, grind, de-burr,

and mount bus bar.

• Examine parts/ components that are installed to verify they are free from damage and defects.

Notify supervisor if found.

• Operate basic hand tools, saws, punches, grinders, drills.

• Clean equipment, wipe clean, vacuum, or blow out metal chips and dirt. Perform work duties as

assigned.

• Clean up shop area of tools and work at the end of each shift.
