Axios Professional Recruitment is partnered with pioneer in LED lighting technology located in Hudsonville, who is actively looking to hire a qualified Account Manager to oversee major accounts. The ideal candidate will be experience in infiltrating large corporations to become a trusted partner, will be experience in technical sales, will be highly organized and professional in their communication skills, have the ability to travel overnight up 40%, be well-versed in the automotive industry, and more.
OEM Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Ability to quicky learn and understand specific information about the product line.
- Gain specific knowledge of all aspects of the customer’s business.
- Develop persuasive, well-organized, and informative proposals in response to customer requests.
- Work closely with the technical support team to resolve any issues that arise.
- New business development and market growth within assigned areas of responsibility.
- Develop and maintain an annual sales plan for assigned accounts.
- Weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting.
- Monthly sales forecasts and target account pipeline updates within the CRM system.
- Maintain diligence in keeping the CRM system up to date.
- Provide technical advice and support to clients, using specific products and market knowledge.
- Create and manage the sales pipeline using CRM tools.
- Carry out specific related projects/tasks as assigned by supervisor in a timely manner.
- Must be a strategic thinker with ability to execute tactical goals.
- Be able to initiate and develop strong relationships with others.
- Self-motivated and able to work as part of a team.
- Able to travel with typical travel time averaging 1-2 weeks per month; primarily domestic U.S.
- Attend customer conferences, trade shows, and networking events as needed.
- Establish the overall marketing and sales activities implementation plan by considering market trends, customers, competitors, industry and applications.
- Extensive sales and business management, account planning, development and execution.
OEM Account Manager Qualifications:
To be considered for the OEM Account Manager position, applicants should have:
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative to proactively evaluate existing sales strategies and recommend changes, when appropriate.
- Ability to understand and clearly communicate the “voice of the customer” to the internal team.
- Ability to conceptualize new products and features that customers will value, and to develop interest with customers for new products.
