Audiovisual Production Manager
Location: Media, PA
We are currently seeking an Audiovisual Production Manager for one of the top 3 AV integrators in the Northeast Get ready to dive into the heart of the action as the Audio Visual Production Manager collaborates with the Rental and Staging Division team members. Together, you'll ensure seamless budgeting and delivery of service, crafting unforgettable experiences from concept to final billing. Join us and be part of the excitement
Responsibilities:
- In charge of supervising and scheduling the staffing of technicians for all events using a combination of internal, freelance staff, and external staff employees from various trade unions and contractors.
- Work with Account Managers to develop proposals, and scope of work and ensure proper budgeting.
- The manager communicates closely with Event Planners, Clients, Technicians, and Facility Managers to ensure that all audio-visual components are implemented in such a way as to provide a solution that meets the demands, not only of the individuals involved but also the goal(s) of the particular event.
- Perform site visits with customers and/or event planners to determine their standards for onsite productions as it relates to audio-visual technician support.
- Be prepared to be a contingency technician on an exception basis which may include assisting with room configuration, setup, and tear down of audio-visual equipment in addition to physical configuration (lifting involved) and connecting and interfacing all audio-visual equipment
- Work with third-party vendors to ensure all equipment requirements are fulfilled.
- Provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Practice safety procedures.
- Assist with other assigned duties as needed, such as supporting the rental department in order taking.
- Work above 40 hours per week as needed. This would include evenings, holidays, and weekends, as well as some travel.
- Must have personal reliable transportation to and from work and job sites.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equal job experience
- 3+ years of supervisory experience with direct reports with full responsibility for performance management and growth
- Proficient with Microsoft programs – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and song with Virtual/Hybrid streaming platforms
- Video Production/Editing experience a plus
- Knowledgeable of industry-standard A/V technologies, best practices, and service programs
- Must be able to handle stressful situations effectively and professionally
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Able to effectively plan, demonstrate organizational skills, and multi-tasking.
