Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Centerless Grinding Machinist at Indiana Precision Grinding. The Machinist will be responsible for operating centerless grinding machines, monitoring the grinding process, and ensuring precision in the finished products. The role will involve setting up and adjusting machines, inspecting parts, and maintaining equipment for efficient production.

Qualifications

  • Experience in operating centerless grinding machines (Thru Feed and In Feed)
  • Knowledge of grinding processes and techniques
  • Ability to set up and troubleshoot machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control
  • Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • At least 10 years experience with Centerless Grinding.
  • Previous experience in the precision grinding industry is a plus
  • Ability to read, basic math, and critical thinking a must.
