Job Description

We are currently hiring 2nd Shift Machinists to join our team. Our company specializes in engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance, serving the aerospace industry since 1957. We are looking to add at least 5 machinists to our 2nd shift team to help meet project deadlines and ensure timely product delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Operate CNC milling, turning, and grinding machines.
  • Work with materials such as Aluminum, Titanium, and Inconel.
  • Handle milling capabilities up to 100 inches and turning capabilities up to 78 inches.
  • Utilize machines including Okuma, DMG, OKK, and Toshiba.
  • Read and interpret blueprints.
  • Perform basic inspection tasks.
  • Set up and troubleshoot machines.
  • Ensure adherence to GD&T standards and tolerances.
Essential Skills
  • 3+ years of CNC milling experience.
  • Proficient in blueprint reading.
  • Basic inspection experience.
  • Knowledge of shop math.
  • Experience with Fanuc controls.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Lathe and Milling machines.
  • Familiarity with Siemens control, Okuma, Toshiba.
  • Ability to read and interpret G&M codes.
  • Troubleshooting and setup experience.
  • Understanding of tolerances and GD&T standards.

Work Environment

Work in a climate-controlled, albeit dirty, shop with over 100 CNC machines. The position is for the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 3:30 pm to 12:00 am, with flexible hours.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00
