Qualifications:

Entry-Level Positions:

  • 0 – 3 years in a technical manufacturing position.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Must be able to work on their feet for 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to work consistently from 7am – 4pm with ability to come in early or stay late if needed.


Mid-Level Positions:

  • 3 – 6+ years in a technical manufacturing position.
  • Associate degree or technical certification in manufacturing, engineering, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Must be able to work on their feet for 8 hours per day.
  • Must be able to work consistently from 7am – 4pm with ability to come in early or stay late if needed.
  • Knowledge of bills of materials and inventory systems.
  • Knowledge and experience operating a computer and software.
  • Knowledge and use of label and marker printing software.
  • Knowledge and experience of electrical wiring and crimping skills, small to large wire gauge and cable assemblies.
  • Knowledge and experience of electrical soldering.
  • Complete knowledge and experience of hand tools and operating hand tools.
  • Knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, as well as wire assembly drawings.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and assembly drawings.
  • Ability to complete mechanical modifications to industrial control panel enclosures.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and quality process for ensuring proper assembly of products.
  • Knowledge of wire gauges, types of wires, and color of wires.
  • Analytical skills and ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Complete knowledge of bills of materials and inventory systems.
  • Complete knowledge and experience operating a computer and software.
  • Knowledge and use of label and marker printing software.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. continuously.


Senior-Level Positions:

  • 6-15+ years' experience in technical manufacturing position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, or related field (preferred, not required).
  • Expertise in troubleshooting complex technical issues and optimizing production processes.
  • Extensive knowledge and ability to redline electrical schematics and assembly drawings, as well as writing and submitting engineering change requests.
  • Complete knowledge and experience of electrical wiring and crimping skills, small to large wire gauge and cable assemblies.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of electrical soldering.
  • Complete knowledge and experience of hand tools and operating hand tools.
  • Extensive knowledge in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, as well as wire assembly drawings.
  • Extensive ability to read and interpreting mechanical drawings and assembly drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Panel Assembly:

  • Assemble control panels according to engineering drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Install components such as PLCs, relays, circuit breakers, terminal blocks, and other electrical devices.
  • Ensure all components are securely mounted and properly aligned.


2. Wiring:

  • Perform wiring and interconnection of control panels as per wiring diagrams.
  • Strip, crimp, and terminate wires accurately.
  • Label and organize wiring to maintain a clean and professional appearance.


3. Testing and Quality Assurance:

  • Conduct functional tests on control panels to ensure proper operation.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues or defects in wiring or components.
  • Verify that all panels meet safety standards and customer requirements.


4. Documentation:

  • Maintain accurate records of panel assembly and wiring activities.
  • Update and revise wiring diagrams and schematics as needed.
  • Prepare documentation for final panel inspections and customer delivery.


4. Collaboration:

  • Work closely with engineering and project management teams to ensure panels meet design specifications.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to address any issues or concerns.
  • Provide input on design improvements and process enhancements.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
