Abra Health is seeking a dedicated and passionate Outreach Specialist to join our team.
In this role you will be expected to develop and grow professional relationships with pediatric primary care offices, preschools/daycares, schools, and other community-based organizations for the purpose of creating referrals for Abra Health’s Dental and Medical centers and promoting preventive health and dental care.
Organizes participation in local events taking place in existing and future communities to broaden the reach of Abra Health’s services. Some of these events may be after hours and occasionally on weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Understanding Abra Health’s geographic areas with the intent of creating professional referral relationships in existing and future markets.
- Developing and growing professional relationships with pediatricians, dental professionals, and other key decision makers of prospective referral resources by use of but not limited to; telephonic use, one on one meetings, presentations, professional organizations, and social electronic media.
- Developing and coordinating outreach educational efforts to be taught in preschools/daycares/head start programs by a licensed dental hygienist that focuses on proper dental hygiene.
- Developing an annual calendar of outreach events and coordinating logistics and employee participation to identified/approved events.
- Assisting in the development of marketing/PR materials that will be utilized for building/maintaining relationships for the geographic areas and/or brands.
- Contributing to the development of and/or participating in seminars and company campaigns for the benefit of obtaining prospective referral resources.
- Working closely with the Management of each office in helping to obtain/maintain optimal revenue by achieving maximum referrals for the practice’s services.
- Directly assisting and supporting marketing department personnel at key meetings with executive level audiences (expected daily local travel and occasional overnight) and can encompass nights and weekends.
- Reporting on results and recording daily activity through CRM software.
- Developing and maintaining a database of community partners and referral sources
- Creating monthly/quarterly reports on outreach activities, number of sign ups or info collected.
Qualifications
- Health community outreach experience – preferred
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred
- Exceptional, clear, and concise communication skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft products and CRM
- Outstanding organizational, follow-through, and time management skills
- An outgoing, charismatic personality
- Experience with public speaking and giving presentations
- Have own transportation and the ability to travel between Abra Health’s offices (NJ)
- Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
