5) Software release/development Engineer - Agile (Release engineer is best transferable title)

6) Know how to take modules of work and make it work so that it can go into production without errors

7) The following soft skills: Excellent communication style, able to understand what is required for the mission and knows how to accommodate the needs, transparent about not knowing everything.



Data Product Release Engineer

  • We are in search of a proficient Data Product Release Engineer on a contract basis to develop and operationalize containerized CI/CD pipelines for our data product ecosystem.
  • The role requires a strong grasp of both DevOps methodologies and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • You will be tasked with creating pipelines that automate testing, integration, and deployment processes for our data products, ensuring that all components are validated against meticulously constructed test datasets.
  • Your work will be instrumental in forging a consistent and efficient development framework that can be standardized across our suite of data products, with a focus on building and deploying artifacts within a containerized environment.
  • In this role, you will be expected to engineer scalable and maintainable CI/CD workflows that enable rapid iteration and robust deployment patterns for data products.
  • You will work in tandem with cross-functional teams to encapsulate data processes within containers, facilitating seamless build and release cycles.
  • The successful candidate will be adept at navigating the complexities of data product development, applying software engineering best practices to the data domain, and delivering a containerized pipeline infrastructure that supports the full lifecycle of data product creation and maintenance.
  • Your efforts will be key to advancing our data product development capabilities, ensuring that we maintain a competitive edge through sophisticated and streamlined DevOps practices.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
  • 5-7 years of related experience required
