Business Development Representative

Role Overview: We are seeking a motivated and ambitious Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our growing sales team. As a BDR at PalletTrader, you will be the front line of our sales process, responsible for generating and qualifying leads, and setting the stage for our sales executives to close deals. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, before transitioning into a sales role yourself, if that is the path you choose (we have several paths for you to pursue)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively research and identify potential leads through various channels including social media, industry events, and online research
- Outreach: Conduct high-volume outbound calls, emails, and social media messages to engage with prospects and generate interest in PalletTrader's solutions
- Qualification: Qualify leads based on established criteria to ensure they are a good fit for our service
- Appointment Setting: Schedule meetings and demos for our sales executives with qualified leads
- CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of all activities and interactions in our CRM system
- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align on campaign strategies and provide feedback on lead quality
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in ongoing training and development to refine your sales skills and knowledge of our industry

Key Requirements
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a sales/business development or similar role, preferably in a B2B environment =
- Industry experience with Pallets, Packaging, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics is required.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, cold calling experience, strong organizational abilities, and a high level of attention to detail
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and other sales tools
- Mindset: A self-starter with a growth mindset, eager to learn and improve. Resilient and able to handle rejection
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
