About Us: Media Commanders is a new and innovative in-house production and network media company in the early stages of launching original content for platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, Instagram, and more. We aim to cover live news, produce engaging podcasts, and delve into the world of gaming and original programming. As we lay the foundation for our exciting journey, we seek a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Producer, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and producing original content, including podcasts, videos, and more.


Our office is located within walking distance of UCLA in Westwood, Los Angeles.


Position Overview: Media Commanders, LLC, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Producer. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our content creation efforts, working closely with the team to bring our vision to life. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling through various media platforms. We strongly encourage individuals with experience in content creation, influencers, and college students pursuing a career in entertainment who can commute to our Westwood office in Los Angeles to apply. Additionally, basic proficiency in operating cameras, lighting, microphones, rigs, and other production equipment is essential for success in this role.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and produce original content, including podcasts, videos, and other media formats.
  • Collaborate with the production team to brainstorm ideas, develop concepts, and create engaging content.
  • Research topics, conduct interviews, and write scripts as needed for content production.
  • Coordinate with talent, crew, and other team members to ensure smooth production processes.
  • Oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, budgeting, and logistics.
  • Edit and post-produce content to meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Operate cameras, lighting, microphones, rigs, and other equipment during productions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance content production.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks related to content development and production.
  • Additional tasks as needed.


Requirements:

  • Previous experience in content production, preferably in a studio or media environment.
  • Strong creative skills and the ability to develop engaging content concepts.
  • Proficiency in audio and video editing software such as Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and talent.
  • Organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of quality and creativity.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines and exceed expectations.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed to accommodate production schedules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification or training in media production or content development is a plus.
  • Candidates with full-time jobs will not be considered.
  • Must have open availability.
  • Additional tasks as needed
  • Assist in maintaining production spaces and offices and in client reservations.
