As a Sustainability Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our organization's commitment to sustainable practices and initiatives. You will assist in identifying opportunities for sustainable practices, developing and implementing action plans, monitoring progress, and reporting results. This role requires a blend of analytical & technical skills, and soft skills.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  1. Collect and analyze data related to energy consumption, waste generation, carbon emissions, and other relevant sustainability metrics. Use tools like Excel, Tableau, or specialized software to generate reports and insights.
  2. Training and awareness: support with the development of training sessions and workshops to educate employees on sustainable practices and initiatives. Promote awareness and foster a culture of sustainability within the organization.
  3. Monitoring and reporting: track progress toward sustainability tactical objectives and assist in preparing sustainability reports for internal stakeholders.
  4. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify tactical objectives and concrete actions aligned with corporate sustainability strategy.
  5. Facilitate teamwork with the Sustainability Ambassador Team to identify and coordinate local initiatives such as community involvement.
  6. Project Support: Provide support for sustainability projects, including pilot programs, audits, and certifications (e.g., EcoVadis, B Corp, EPDs). Coordinate activities and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
  7. Update and maintain the communication channel to ensure affective information flow throughout the organization.
  8. Any other duties as required by the Manager.


Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field.
  2. Experience in sustainability reporting, greenhouse gas emissions management, or sustainability project management preferred.
  3. Knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., EPDs, GHG Protocol).
  4. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software.
  5. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  8. Passion for sustainability and a proactive attitude towards environmental and social responsibility.

Working Conditions and/or Physical Demands:

  1. Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  2. Ability to travel up to 15 days per year.
  3. Wear personal protective equipment when required.
