We are currently seeking a QA Onsite Lead to join our dynamic middle office space.


Role Summary:

As the QA Onsite Lead, you will play a critical role within our Scrum team, collaborating closely with product, development, and scrum partners to ensure the highest quality of project delivery. Your expertise in the online trading domain will be invaluable in guiding our offshore team and ensuring excellence in test strategy implementation, execution, and reporting. This position is perfect for a leader passionate about driving quality in an Agile environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead API testing efforts, including studying API implementations, performing impact analyses, and guiding QA teams to achieve comprehensive test coverage.
  • Coordinate with development and project managers for release planning, ensuring a seamless contract between web and backend layers.
  • Develop and execute API test strategies, manage test planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Work closely with automation teams to prioritize in-sprint automation tasks and transform manual regression suites into automated ones.
  • Act as a pivotal liaison between product, development, and QA teams, fostering a collaborative environment to meet and exceed sprint goals.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, with at least 3 years focused on testing APIs (XML/JSON/SOAP, REST)
  • Proficiency with at least one API testing tool.
  • Solid experience (2+ years) working with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA/Confluence. XRAY knowledge is a significant plus.
  • Demonstrated ability in writing and testing APIs, with a strong background in testing methodologies and the capability to adapt to short release cycles.
  • In-depth understanding of Change Management processes and capital markets domain experience.
