We are a publicly traded company listed on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). Our mission is to provide innovative distribution solutions in the pain management sector, delivering high-quality products and services to healthcare providers and patients. We are seeking a dynamic, results-driven Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead our organization through its next phase of growth and success.

The ideal candidate will have experience in raising capital, expanding sales, developing a high-performing team, and building strong investor relations.


Position Overview: The CEO will be responsible for setting and executing the strategic vision of the company, driving revenue growth, and enhancing shareholder value. This individual will lead the organization’s operations, sales channels, and e-commerce initiatives, while maintaining a strong focus on financial health, capital markets and investor relations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success as a public company leader, experience in scaling sales channels, expertise in e-commerce within a competitive and regulated industry and the financial acumen to maintain the financial health of the company. The CEO will be responsible for developing a high-performing leadership team.

Strategic Leadership & Company Growth:

  • Alongside the board of directors, set the vision and strategic direction for the company, aligning with both short-term and long-term growth goals.
  • Drive the company’s growth trajectory by identifying new revenue streams, expanding sales channels, and entering new markets.
  • Provide overall leadership to all aspects of the company’s operations, from sales and distribution to financial performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Capital Markets & Fundraising:

  • Serve as the primary spokesperson for the company with investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
  • Utilize expertise in capital markets to access funding and raise capital.
  • Develop relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other capital markets stakeholders to enhance the company’s visibility and valuation.
  • Lead investor relations efforts, communicating effectively with existing and potential investors, analysts, and shareholders.

Sales Organization Development & Expansion:

  • Lead the development and expansion of the company’s sales organization, building a high-performing team of sales professionals.
  • Drive sales strategies and initiatives to accelerate revenue growth, optimize distribution channels, and expand the company’s market footprint.
  • Oversee the creation of sales targets, performance metrics, and incentive structures that align with overall business objectives.

Investor Relations & Communication:

  • Maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and the financial community to ensure continued investor confidence and support.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of earnings reports, quarterly calls, and shareholder meetings to provide clear, transparent updates on the company’s performance.
  • Effectively communicate the company’s growth story to potential investors, building trust and excitement around the company’s long-term prospects.

Pain Management Distribution & Market Strategy:

  • Leverage industry knowledge to lead the company’s strategic positioning within the pain management distribution sector, identifying opportunities to expand product offerings and reach new customer segments and channels.
  • Drive product innovation, market expansion, and strategic partnerships to increase the company’s competitive advantage.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, quality control, and industry best practices in the distribution of pain management products.

Financial Stewardship:

  • Ensure effective management of cash flow, working capital, and financial resources.
  • Deliver strong ROI on invested capital through strategic resource allocation and cost management.
  • Partner with the Controller to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial strategies.

Team Development & Organizational Leadership:

  • Develop and implement a strong leadership team, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Hire, mentor, and retain top talent to expand the company’s capabilities, empowering employees to meet growth objectives.
  • Ensure that the company’s organizational structure and processes support scalability as the business grows.

Corporate Governance & Compliance:

  • Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure proper governance, oversight, and accountability at all levels of the organization.
  • Oversee adherence to all regulatory requirements, particularly for publicly traded companies, including NYSE regulations and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a CEO, senior executive, or other leadership roles in a publicly traded company, with a strong background in managing a NYSE-listed micro-cap business.
  • Extensive experience in capital markets, including raising capital, managing investor relations, and understanding the financial dynamics of publicly listed companies.
  • Solid background in pain management distribution, with an understanding of the market, regulatory requirements, and distribution strategies in the industry.
  • Demonstrated success in scaling sales organizations, expanding revenue streams, and growing market share in competitive industries.

Sales and Business Development:

  • Strong background in sales leadership, developing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth.
  • Experience in building and expanding sales organizations, including recruitment, training, and performance management.
  • Proven track record in increasing market outreach, identifying new sales opportunities, and building strategic partnerships.

Leadership & Management Skills:

  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to build and inspire high-performance teams across all levels of the organization.
  • Strong decision-making capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing market conditions.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders at all levels.

Education:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is required; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Entrepreneurial style with “rolled-up-sleeves” work ethic without an ego.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, board and staff to create results-driven team-oriented environment.Must provide motivation as well as help forge greater cross function partnership to ensure collaboration and alignment of company objectives.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and reporting requirements for NYSE-listed companies.
