We are currently partnered with a leading Insurance firm seeking a detail-oriented and adaptable Compliance Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will support fundamental compliance tasks under the guidance of their Legal department. The focus will be on enhancing and streamlining compliance processes and implementing regulations effectively.
Compliance Analyst Responsibilities:
- Compile a list of annual statements and financial filings required for the year, utilizing state links and NAIC checklist recommendations.
- Develop a master list of financial filings for the year, tracking required submissions.
- Conduct marketing reviews.
- Update forms as needed.
- File submissions through SERFF.
- Review and follow up on regulations and maintain communication regarding compliance.
- Assist in handling complaints.
Compliance Analyst Qualifications:
- Experience: 1-3 years in administration, compliance, or health insurance, or a related field.
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders for conflict resolution, relationship building, and cooperation, while maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating diplomacy and tact.
- Additional Skills (preferred but not essential): Knowledge of legal codes, court procedures, government regulations, and the democratic process. Effective communication skills and understanding of insurance and financial practices, policies, and regulations are advantageous.
