Title: Medical Assistant
Location: Everett, WA 98201
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $23/hr. on W2.
Shift: Tues-Fri 7:45 am-5:00 pm (Monday Off)
Duration: 3+ Months
*Pay Rate is based on experience and educational qualifications.
Job Details:
The primary responsibilities of this role include rooming patients face to face, taking vitals, refilling prescriptions, providing vaccinations, and drawing labs.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a strong commitment to patient care and safety.
Job Requirements:
- Prepare examination rooms for patient consultations and procedures.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and common areas.
- Accurately measure and record patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiration rate.
- Verify prescription information and patient details.
- Administer vaccinations and immunizations following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of vaccines administered and inventory levels.
- Collect blood, urine, or other specimens from patients for laboratory testing.
Responsibilities:
- Rooms patients according to policy and procedures, prepares patients for examination
- Records patient care documentation in the medical record accurately and in a timely manner
- Coordinates patient care as directed by physicians, company standards and policies
- Respects patient confidentiality at all times and treat patients with courtesy and respect
Qualifications:
- High School graduate or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant Certification and BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years of Medical Assistant experience is required
