+ Position Overview 

Dimension Inx designs, develops, and manufactures therapeutic products that restore tissue and organ function. We are an energetic team of materials and biomedical engineers, scientists, designers, manufacturing experts, and market and business leaders. Dimension Inx is seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to lead our Medical Device Portfolio. The General Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the successful launch of CMFlex and future products, cultivating a robust clinical data package, and driving the design and execution of our product expansion strategy. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer. 

 

+ Key ​​Responsibilities 

 

Product Expansion Strategy: 

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify opportunities for product expansion and portfolio diversification. 
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to expand the portfolio through organic growth, partnerships, licensing agreements, or acquisitions. 
  • Evaluate potential new technologies and product concepts, leading feasibility assessments and business case development. 
  • Foster relationships with key industry stakeholders to facilitate business development opportunities. 

Product Launch and Management: 

  • Oversee efforts by Marketing and Sales to successfully launch CMFlex and other medical devices within the portfolio, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and commercial objectives. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Manufacturing to drive product development, manufacturing, and commercialization efforts. 
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize product lifecycle management and drive revenue growth. 
  • Monitor product performance and implement strategies for continuous improvement. 

Clinical Data Cultivation: 

  • Establish and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), academic institutions, and clinical research organizations (CROs) to build a comprehensive clinical data package. 
  • Drive the design and execution of clinical studies to generate robust evidence supporting the safety, efficacy, and clinical utility of Dimension Inx musculoskeletal products. 
  • Interpret clinical data and collaborate with internal stakeholders to refine product development strategies and enhance market positioning. 

Regulatory Compliance: 

  • Ensure all products comply with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, including FDA and CE Mark requirements. 
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of regulatory documents, ensuring timely approval for product launches. 

Risk Management: 

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with product development, regulatory compliance, and market introduction. 
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure the continuity of operations. 

Financial Management: 

  • Oversee budget planning and financial performance of the medical device portfolio, ensuring alignment with company goals. 
  • Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making and resource allocation. 

Cross-Functional Leadership: 

  • Provide strong leadership and guidance to a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. 
  • Mentor and develop team members to build a high-performing organization. 
  • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring that product development and commercialization efforts are aligned with customer needs and market dynamics. 
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize resource allocation, prioritize initiatives, and drive operational excellence. 

 

 

+ Position Requirements 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) preferred. 
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in the medical device industry, with a proven track record of success in product management, commercialization, and strategic planning for implantable medical devices.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements governing medical devices (e.g., FDA, CE Mark) and experience navigating the regulatory approval process. 
  • Proven financial acumen and experience managing budgets and financial performance. 
  • Demonstrated experience in clinical research, including study design, protocol development, and data analysis. 
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Exceptional leadership abilities, with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Understanding of bone graft substitutes and biomaterials is a plus.
