Responsibilities

  • Direct the annual budget process and work closely with the Executive Director, Director of Operations, Development Director, program managers and the Board of Directors in development, oversight and monitoring of the annual agency budget
  • Produce regular financial reporting and analysis of the agency’s financial standing to the Finance Committee and Board of Directors
  • Ensure that the organization has adequate financial and accounting policies, procedures and internal controls
  • Supervise the accounting staff and functions, including patient accounts receivable, grant and contracts billing, payroll, benefit accounting, purchasing and accounts payables and cash management
  • Supervise all fiscal reporting, contract review, and agreement renewals with government agencies, private foundations, and corporations to ensure accuracy and compliance with funding guidelines


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 5+ years' of experience in finance or accounting
  • 2-3 years of supervision
  • Experience in fund accounting, non-profit management and management of complex financial systems
