Job Title: Lead Project Manager - Cape Cod & The Islands


The Civi Group is seeking a Lead Project Manager to oversee large construction projects ($20M+) around Cape Cod, Nantucket, and Martha's Vineyard. Typical project types include residential, commercial, healthcare, and academic projects.


Our client is one of the largest General Contractors on Cape Cod, booked until 2026. Over 80% of business comes from repeat clients.


Compensation for this role is based on experience but offers a Boston-area salary, despite being Cape-based—ideal for someone seeking a Boston-level salary without the Boston commute.

Job Title: Lead Project Manager


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all phases of ($20M+) construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring objectives are met.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, identify issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and building codes.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
  • At least 4+ years of experience as the lead project manager on projects.
  • Experience with high-budget projects, minimum value $15 million.
  • Experience with full financial control over projects, including procurement, budget, cash flow, and closeout.
