We are seeking an Informatica Administrator for an IT Services firm. The role involves sophisticated administration and management of the Informatica PowerCenter data integration platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for the detailed design, optimization, and maintenance of the PowerCenter environment. This is a critical role that ensures the performance, security, and availability of the platform for complex ETL and data integration processes. This is a temporary, full-time onsite position in Jefferson City, MO with an expected duration of one year, possibly longer.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the installation, configuration, and upgrades of Informatica PowerCenter, including high-availability setups.
  • Implement optimization techniques for ETL processes and system performance.
  • Design and implement security measures, encryption, and access control to protect data.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Configure and manage scalable, high-availability setups with load balancing.
  • Implement monitoring and alerting systems for performance tracking and issue detection.
  • Conduct capacity planning for growing data volumes and processing needs.
  • Collaborate with data architects on data integration strategies and practices.
  • Provide mentorship to junior administrators and lead complex data integration projects.
  • Ensure compliance with industry and regulatory standards and support audits.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3+ years as an Informatica Administrator, with focus on complex ETL environments.
  • Expert knowledge of Informatica PowerCenter architecture, advanced administration, and security.
  • Proficiency in SQL, ETL processes, and data warehousing.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.


Compensation:

  • $55 per hour


Expected hours: 40 per week
