JSW Steel USA is seeking a Vice President of Information Technology to join our organization.

The chosen individual will develop and manage technological infrastructure, critical information systems, and data systems. In addition, but not limited to researching new technologies, processes and system improvements.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Responsible for planning, directing, enhancing, and coordinating the overall management and strategic direction of both current and emerging technologies to be assimilated, integrated and introduced within the organization.
  • Ensure that IT systems and processes comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Leads the development of the IT strategy and roadmap; ensures its integration with the enterprise's strategic planning process, and the resulting business strategy and plans.
  • Develop and maintain policies and procedures for the department.
  • Provide guidance on technical issues that may arise with software or hardware systems.
  • Oversee objectives for technical operations and implementing action plans necessary for achieving set targets.
  • Train and share technological knowledge with members of the team.
  • Managing third-party and vendor relationships on behalf of JSW Steel USA.
  • Work with all necessary partners relating to Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery.
  • Manage direct staff and plans, monitors, and appraises job performance.
  • Coach, counsel, and disciplines employees, as required.
  • Maintain staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, developing, maintaining an up-to-date job description and training of employees.


Education and Experience:

  • 10 or more years of related work experience with leading a technical support and infrastructure team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering CIS, or a closely related field.
  • Proven success in analyzing business objectives and presenting solutions that meet or exceed objectives.
  • Experience in IT strategic planning, organization design and development.

  • Able to exercise independent judgment and take action on it.
  • Excellent listening, interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to synthesize complex ideas and concepts and communicate them in technical terms for product owners as well as in layman's terms for sales and end users.
  • Logical and efficient, with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
