VEIA Fulfillment Associate Job Description


VEIA is searching for a Fulfillment Associate to work in its Oceanside, California office. In this role, you will prepare the inbound and outbound shipments including ecommerce, rep and wholesale orders. This will include fulfilling wholesale and ecommerce orders, fulfilling warranty claims, and engaging in customer service. Included in this process are regular inventory counts to ensure the stock levels are accurate. You will also be responsible for coordinating shipping details and processing and prioritizing orders based on the urgency and importance of customer needs. This position currently reports directly to the Sales and Office Coordinator.


VEIA Fulfillment Associate Duties and Responsibilities


  • Ensuring the warehouse is running according to schedule, prioritizing orders correctly and shipping all orders within 2 business days maximum. 
  • Entry of orders in the order entry system and organizing packing slips and shipping labels for each order.
  • Coordination of pickups of goods by freight companies and deliveries of inbound inventory by selected vendors.
  • Manage inventory of shipping supplies and packing materials.  
  • Online & phone customer service within North America. 
  • Warranty fulfillment for any approved claims.
  • Process shipping claims for all orders and coordinate the return/exchange process where applicable
  • Generate invoices and packing slips for all orders and ensure all orders contain packing slips and invoices are provided to retailers at time of shipment. 
  • Ensure all products being checked into inventory as well as those being shipped are inspected for damage and quality control. 



VEIA Fulfillment Associate Requirements and Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • 2+ years experience in a retail and/or warehouse focused environment 
  • Proven organizational experience and attention to detail. 
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets & Shopify is recommended. 
  • Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work on multiple high-value projects simultaneously
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage schedules and timelines 


Salary and benefits


  • Hourly starting at $20 per hour, increases available commensurate with experience 
  • 2 weeks Paid Time Off
