We are seeking a highly experienced Senior VMware Engineer with a deep understanding of VMware virtualization technologies and extensive hands-on experience with Omnissa. The Senior Virtualization Engineer (VMWare) candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing VMware-based infrastructures.


This is a full-time, permanent W2 position with a salary of $150k – $180k. Due to client restrictions, we are only considering applicants who are Permanent Residents or United States Citizens.


Senior Virtualization Engineer (VMWare) Required Qualifications:

  • Permanent Resident or US Citizen
  • Deep knowledge and extensive experience with VMware products, including vSphere, vCenter, ESXi, NSX, and Omnissa. Experience with VMware Automation Tools (vRealize, Orchestrator) is a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of Omnissa technologies and their integration with VMware environments. Proven experience in deploying and managing Omnissa solutions.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash to automate tasks and manage VMware environments.
  • Strong understanding of VMware Site Recovery Manager (SRM) and other backup and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of virtual networking concepts, including VLANs, VXLANs, distributed switches, and VMware NSX.
  • Experience with SAN, NAS, and vSAN storage technologies in VMware environments.
  • Understanding of security best practices within VMware and Omnissa environments, including patch management, RBAC, and encryption.
  • VMware certifications such as VCP (VMware Certified Professional) and/or VCAP (VMware Certified Advanced Professional) are highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with hybrid cloud environments and integration with cloud providers like AWS and Azure.
  • Experience with the administration and creation of Windows Servers.
  • Experience with email filtering applications like Sophos, Mimecast, or Microsoft.
  • Previous MSP experience highly preferred
