Duration: 12+month contract with possible extensions and contract to hire

Location: Sandy Springs, GA, 2-3 days a week onsite

Rate: $45 hourly w2


Our industry-leading client is looking for an IT Project Manager that will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the software release process for applications. In this role you will be responsible for ensuring synchronization across branch code versions, successful deployment to staging environments, regression testing, release readiness and production deployment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing multiple projects and workstreams, creating project plans, providing status reports, resource planning and managing costs and risks.

Qualifications for the IT Project Manager (Software Release):

  • Software Development Project Management and implementation experience
  • Experience leading Production Release Deployments
  • Overseeing all aspects of the software release process
  • Experience performing Go/ No Go meetings with stakeholders
  • Strong experience developing project plans applying estimating models, identifying resources, documenting assumptions and refining plans
  • Local to Atlanta and able to work a hybrid work schedule
  • Advanced proficiency with all MS Office applications
  • Experience providing task-based schedule and cost forecasts and assisting in assessing risk-based requirements
  • Experience with Jira, Rally, Asana, Smartsheet, Confluence and Clarity PPM
  • Experience interacting across multiple teams and third-party vendors including product, production support and operations
  • Agile Project Management experience
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Bachelors Degree
