Information Technology Manager

are looking for an IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for running our computer systems in an operationally efficient manner.


Skills needed

  • Advanced leadership and conflict management skills
  • Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
  • Great project management skills, including organization, planning, time management and prioritization
  • A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
  • Expert knowledge of IT best practices, policies, and regulations
  • In-depth understanding of programming, computer science and digital security
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • ERP software experience (apparel manufacturing/distributing software a plus)
  • Experience with Microsoft Exchange administration


Responsibilities

  • Manage information technology and computer systems
  • Manage small IT staff
  • Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
  • Working with our outside network consulting firm to help manage downtime to a minimum
  • Interacting with our ERP software provider to manage open support tickets and projects
  • Creating and implementing the organization’s IT policy and best practice manuals
  • Conducting routine evaluations of network and data security
  • Organizing and establishing deadlines for major IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, etc.
  • Maintaining business continuity plans and cyber security incident response procedures
  • Providing security awareness training for all employees via KnowBe4
  • Pitching in whenever and wherever needed regardless of the size of the task
