WORK PURPOSE:


  • Control Engineer FSE (Field Service Engineer) with experience in both installation and maintenance activities for our projects in North America and Latin America.


Duties & responsibilities:


  • The candidate should be able to perform directly and supervise the installation, powering, calibration and commissioning of the unit control panel and the control and protection systems for machinery such as steam and gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, reciprocating compressors, generator, etc.


  • The candidate should be able to put in service the unit and station control panels and the auxiliary systems (Fire Fighting, Gas detection, Anti icing, Steam regulation, Anti surge, oils, fuel and process gases, vibration, air and gas filtering)


  • Operating through UCP and DCS controllers the candidate should be able to perform commissioning of the machinery and plants for all tests provided by Clients (1st start up, load test, performance test).


  • The candidate should be familiar with the interpretation, and modification of the software of control and aligned it with all other control systems belonging to the project.


  • The candidate should be familiar with the technical documentation (layout, P&I specification, sketches, diagrams)


  • The candidate should be able to compile the reports of the activity, apply and use the E tools such as (EDM, TCE, Fieldworks)


  • Particular care when working in quality (QA/QC) and safety (EHS).


Required competences:


  • Viable Candidates should be residents and/ or hold valid permit to work visas for the North American and Latin America.
  • Fluent or business level English , Spanish (optional);
  • Duration: Rotation and/ or Resident Roles.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience, covering the roles of Control Field Engineer in Oil and gas Projects that could be maintenance or installation activities.
