Summary:

As Facilities Engineer, you will play a crucial role in supporting the electrical systems within our data center campus. You’ll work with a range of facilities, from single large-capacity facilities to smaller ones. Your responsibilities will include maintaining and troubleshooting electrical equipment, ensuring uninterrupted power supply, and adhering to safety standards.

Location: Red Oak, TX

Pay Range: $40 - 50 per hour

Technical Expertise:

  • Complete all tasks listed in the CE Tech Level 1 and Level 2 role descriptions.
  • Support electrical infrastructures across the data center campus.

Experience and Skills:

  • Familiarity with building management systems (EPMS).
  • Ability to perform Remote Power Panel (RPP) shutdowns for one power source while ensuring critical load continuity.
  • Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT).
  • Perform master controller shutdown or replacement.
  • Previous data center experience is a plus.
  • Fundamental understanding of the National Electrical Code.

Certifications and Qualifications:

  • Preferred: Qualified Electrical Worker certification.
  • Required: All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.

Work Experience and Education:

  • Experience with electrical systems in high-availability assembly/manufacturing/critical infrastructure environments (e.g., data centers, oil and gas refineries, hospitals, pharmaceuticals, manufacturing).
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.

Required: 5+ years of work/applied learning experience in technical fields (e.g., automotive, electrical, controls, data center).

Availability and Flexibility: Able to work flexible schedules, including 12-hour shifts, rotating shifts, and 3, 4, or 5-day work weeks.

Software Proficiency: Basic understanding of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word).
