Job Summary:

Collabera is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Analyst to join our team in Charlotte NC, Des Moines IA, Minneapolis MN, Chandler AZ or Irvine TX. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with a strong background in Hadoop and Google Cloud.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct data analysis and impact analysis using Hadoop and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Work on the migration of existing Teradata systems to GCP, utilizing Hadoop for data processing.
  • Cleanse, reformat, and store data using tools like Unix and JSON before uploading to GCP.
  • Rewrite keys from third-party sources and transition Teradata utilities to GCP.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and business teams to gather requirements and build data solutions.
  • Create comprehensive data stories to effectively communicate findings and insights.
  • Utilize Agile tools, such as Jira or Confluence, to write stories and manage project workflows.
  • Perform basic scripting with SQL for data conversions out of Teradata.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of experience in a Data Analyst role.
  • Strong experience with Hadoop and GCP for data analysis and impact analysis.
  • Proficient in SQL with the ability to write basic queries.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience with Agile tools, specifically Jira or Confluence.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Teradata.
  • Familiarity with Alteryx.
