What you will be doing:

  • Makes decisions in the areas of software architecture, requirements, design, and test that impact product and feature design.
  • Responsible for review of peer's work to ensure robust, reusable, and efficient design
  • Delivers independent execution of established and emerging work processes and systems, while still developing technology or product knowledge.
  • Participates in the development and improvement of work processes and systems across a functional discipline area within a business unit site.
  • Developing Test Sequences for automating CSAR Base Software Testing
  • Provides support and guidance to internal customers when needed

What you'll need to be successful:

Essential:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering, or related disipline
  • Experience with AutoSAR base software
  • NI TestStand development experience (including Process Models, Custom step types, API, Report Generation and writing test scripts)
  • Interfacing with external tools/systems (ASAM-XCP/CCP, XML, A2L)
  • Knowledge of various protocols (J1939, J1708, LIN, SENT)
  • National Instruments PXI, SLSC, PCI/PCIe, cRIO, and/or cDAQ experience
  • Version control software using IBM Clearcase, PTC Integrity/Windchill or similar
  • Test strategy development (test sequencing/data collection)
  • Understand the engineering workflow
  • Ability to work on tasks independently with minimal support from others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with requirement management tools such as Windchill etc.
  • NI Veristand is desired
