This includes the development and implementation of a preventative quality system, specification compliance, operator training and development, quality testing of ingredients and/or finished products, labeling, complaint handling, and communication with sales and plant personnel regarding quality program trends, issues and opportunities according to established policy and procedures.



Senior Quality Manager

  • Oversee product safety, quality, and regulatory compliance at the manufacturing plant.
  • Develop and implement a preventative quality system and ensure specification compliance.
  • Train and develop operators and QA personnel, raising performance standards.
  • Conduct quality testing of ingredients and finished products, and handle labeling and complaints.
  • Communicate quality trends, issues, and opportunities with sales and plant personnel.
  • Manage the laboratory budget and identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins.
  • Investigate customer complaints and interact with customers on quality matters.
  • Conduct internal, vendor, and contract manufacturing audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory policies at all levels.
  • Stay updated on production methods, formulations, and regulations, and recommend improvements.
