Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Clerk to join our Procurement team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining optimal inventory levels, ensuring uninterrupted production, and supporting the efficient functioning of our manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Inventory Management:

- Monitor and analyze inventory levels to identify shortages or excesses.

- Collaborate with production teams to forecast demand and plan replenishment accordingly.

- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures.


2. Order Processing:

- Generate and process purchase orders for raw materials and components.

- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate terms to optimize cost and delivery.


3. Data Analysis:

- Utilize data analysis tools to track inventory turnover, fill rates, and other relevant metrics.

- Generate reports to provide insights into inventory performance and trends.

- Make data-driven recommendations for process improvements.


4. Collaboration:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance.

- Communicate effectively with suppliers to address issues and improve collaboration.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement best practices in inventory replenishment.

5. Quality Assurance:

- Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure product specifications are met.

- Implement measures to identify and rectify discrepancies in inventory records.

- Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with inventory control standards.


Qualifications:

-Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

- Proven experience in inventory control within a manufacturing environment.

-Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools.

- Familiarity with inventory management software and systems.

- Proficiency using Microsoft

- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining inventory records.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
