IT Systems Analyst II (Contract)

Location: Houston, TX

Duration: 1 Year Contract, with Potential for Permanent Employment

Pay Range: $65-75/hr.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated IT Systems, Database Development, and Support Analyst to join our IT Commercial Gas Systems Team. The role involves delivering top-tier customer service and technical support to our Natural Gas business.

Responsibilities:


  • Provide support for business applications by troubleshooting issues, analyzing root causes, defining solutions, and following change control processes to ensure swift resolution.
  • Collaborate with end users and business analysts to understand new or evolving business requirements and requested functional enhancements.
  • Develop technical specifications, create and test new solutions to meet business needs.
  • Facilitate and coordinate end-user support by promptly acknowledging and completing initial bug triage and assessments.
  • Acquire and maintain the necessary system and business knowledge to support end users and internal or external technical teams.
  • Support custom interfaces, system enhancements, and ETL processes as needed.
  • Manage a large base of stored procedures and views.
  • Maintain Dev, Test, and UAT environments by deploying patches, conducting tests, and developing environment management scripts.



Qualifications:


  • 5 years of experience in database development and analysis (SQL and/or Oracle PL/SQL) - Required.
  • 3 years of experience in C# development.
  • 2 years of experience in JavaScript/Angular development preferred.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly self-motivated and a team player.
  • Committed to quality and customer service.
