We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinator to join our commercial real estate appraisal back office services (BOS) team. This role will support appraisers within our franchise by responding promptly to bid requests, entering awarded jobs into our system, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of appraisal reports, and handling the logistics associated with the appraisal process. Additionally, the candidate will gather and input data to support the real estate reports. The ideal candidate will have a strong administrative background, exceptional communication skills, excellent attention to detail and a commitment to ensuring that tasks are completed thoroughly and on time.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Assist the appraiser with coordination of appraisal projects from initiation through completion, ensuring that timelines are met and deliverables are on target.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Assist appraisers by gathering necessary property data, such as zoning, aerial, parcel, flood maps, tax, and other property characteristics to support appraisers in their evaluations. Input and update data into appraisal software tools and databases, reviewing and verifying the accuracy of data collected, and flagging discrepancies for further investigation before inclusion in reports.
  • Reporting & Tracking: Maintain accurate records of project status and escalate any issues or delays to the senior team members.
  • Data Input: Accurately input and update all job-related data into internal appraisal software and databases, ensuring organized file management (eg: creating Box folders for each job) for easy access and reference.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure that job setup and closings in our appraisal software are compliant with internal standards and industry regulations. Assist in the review and proofing of reports for quality control before submission to clients.
  • Communication & Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to our franchise client including Senior Managing Directors, Appraisers and Office Managers ensuring that their concerns and questions are addressed in a timely and professional manner.


Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, real estate, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience in a research-focused role).

Experience:

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in project coordination, real estate, or a related administrative role.
  • Experience in commercial real estate or real estate appraising.
  • Data collection and research experience.


Skills:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate appraisal terminology and industry practices.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong problem solving and decision making abilities, demonstrating a proactive and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with our team.


Additional Skills (Preferred):

  • Knowledge of appraisal software and Box.
