Judge Healthcare is seeking Occupational Therapist in Rio Vista, CA


Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services within educational settings. The ideal candidate will be skilled in assessing student abilities, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with school staff. This position requires expertise in sensory processing, motor skills, and adaptive equipment use.


Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate student skills, including sensory processing, visual perceptual, fine/visual motor, motor planning, and postural control.
  • Create measurable, school-based goals and treatment plans.
  • Deliver school-based therapy through direct sessions, group sessions, or consultation models.
  • Coordinate treatment plans with certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) and collaborate with teachers, instructional aides, and IEP team members.
  • Implement adaptive equipment and classroom adaptations to support students as needed.
  • Provide training to teachers and instructional aides.
  • Attend Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and interpret evaluation, treatment, and progress results for parents and team members.
  • Document treatments, consultations, and assessment outcomes, including annual progress, initial, or triennial reports.
  • Independently travel to school sites.
  • Perform related duties as assigned.


Credential Requirements:

  • OTR/L (Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed)
  • Valid license issued by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid certificate from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy.
  • Valid California driver’s license.
