Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team in Rio Vista, California. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with students to enhance their ability to perform tasks in their daily living and school environments. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support students' educational goals and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to identify students' occupational therapy needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in groups.
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success.
  • Provide training and support to school staff and parents regarding strategies to support students' needs.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • California state licensure or eligibility.
  • Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
  • Experience working in a school setting is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
