Litigation Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join a well recognized and successful legal team in Los Angeles, California.


The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of litigation experience, specializing in Complex Civil Litigation, Commercial Litigation, National Class Action, Multi-District Litigation, Mass Torts, Business Litigation, and/or Trial Support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • E-Filing and E-Service with both Federal and State Courts.
  • Ensure compliance with local court rules.
  • Utilize Microsoft Word (including styles, numbering, and schemes), Excel, Adobe, Workshare Redlining, and Best Authority for document preparation and revisions.
  • Assist attorneys with preparing, proofreading, and revising legal documents.
  • Prepare briefing binders.
  • Calendar management using Vision CompuLaw and Outlook.
  • Maintain files and records, with experience in FileSite/iManage preferred.
  • Submit new business intake, conflict check requests, and prepare engagement letters.
  • Assist with client billing, expense reimbursements, budget management, and check requests.
  • Coordinate and handle client audit requests.
  • Schedule travel, appointments, and manage attorney calendars and reminders.


What We’re Looking For:

  • At least five years of relevant litigation experience in a law firm setting.
  • Strong word processing background, especially for pleadings, declarations, and document numbering.
  • Experience supporting multiple attorneys, including in different departments.
  • Large firm experience is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Familiarity with client billing, scheduling, and file management systems.
