About the Role: We're seeking a Program Manager to join our Finance Technology product team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in identifying the impact of multiple product launches on the global accounting organization. You will work in a fast-paced environment, managing ambiguity and complexity, and collaborate with stakeholders to translate financial requirements into actionable documents. One key aspect of this role is ensuring the integration of detailed accounting requirements, including those related to revenue reconciliation and financial close processes.


About the Team: Our team focuses on enhancing and building systems for financial management and tax compliance. You'll work alongside dedicated engineers and professionals, collaborating closely with accounting and tax experts to scale operations. Success in this role directly contributes to enhancing the experience of millions of users worldwide.


About You: The ideal candidate for this role has a background in accounting, with experience closing books and managing financial processes. You are detail-oriented, ambitious, and adept at working in a fast-paced, global environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of accounting and corporate finance.
  • Support relationships with internal and external business partners.
  • Drive the delivery of complex projects from initiation through completion.
  • Standardize project communications, execution, and documentation across accounting.
  • Gather requirements, prioritize features, and drive technical scoping.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that enhance business performance.
  • Ensure consistent execution of functions across accounting.
  • Identify and mitigate potential risks and obstacles.


Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in program or project management.
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or Accounting certification (CMA or CPA).
  • PMP Certification.
  • Experience supporting accounting customers and managing project deliverables.
  • Experience in accounting projects, including requirement gathering and testing.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and influence outcomes.
