Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic legal counsel to a diverse clientele, including contractors, design professionals, developers, and owners, in resolving construction-related disputes.
  • Manage all phases of litigation, from pre-suit evaluation through trial, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis to develop effective litigation strategies.
  • Draft and file comprehensive legal documents, such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Represent clients in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
  • Collaborate effectively with clients, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Stay abreast of evolving construction law and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and active membership in the Florida Bar.
  • Minimum of one year of civil litigation experience, with a preference for construction-related matters.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a demanding caseload efficiently and effectively.
