Position Descripti

onThe Market Manager for the Texas Market operating remotely from the Dallas Area, takes charge of driving sales, profit, and key performance indicators in a market with approximately 45 million in volume. This is accomplished through fostering motivational communication, establishing clear standards, formulating actionable plans, and ensuring consistent follow-up. Reporting directly to the District Manager, they exhibit unwavering dedication to integrity, people development, and engagement, nurturing a high-performance culture that resonates with the company's Core Values and Winning Ways. Primary Job Funct

  • ionsResponsible for achievement of goals/objectives in Sales, Controllable Profit, EBITDA, Payroll Management, P&L performance, Email Capture rate, Proprietary Credit Card, Ship from Store and Omni-Channel initiati
  • ves.Responsible for leading all company initiatives, including the Playbook by clearly communicating objectives and priorities to the team and working through direct reports to drive resu
  • lts.Supports the selling and customer service experiences; providing leadership and motivation to team in achieving sales goals, driving omni-channel growth, and execution of company initiati
  • ves.Sustains adherence to the HR policies and procedures. Monitors performance management, compliance, and hiring practices in partnership with
  • DVP.Manages training, IDP’s and mobility of team, maintaining a proactive talent succession plan to fill open positions by recruiting and hiring quality leaders that think and act like an Owner Opera
  • tor.Hires, trains, develops and retains direct reports, ensuring their readiness for increased responsibility and providing a bench of internal talent who are upwardly mobile to fill critical positi
  • ons.Responsible for maintaining fair and accurate practices within his/ her area including equitable hiring, scheduling, promotions and performance managem
  • ent.Manages and resolves poor performance and terminations appropriately, in partnership with the Employee Relations Service Center and Legal department, to improve overall productivity and performance of the t
  • eam.Oversees the market’s inventory shortage strategy, results, and concerns, the Store Audit, and communicates policies and procedures to the leadership populat
  • ion.Oversees the merchandise presentation and signage standards in partnership with
