Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with expertise in Investment Banking and Capital Markets to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in SQL, Data Mart and Data Warehouse (DWH) projects, BI/Reporting concepts, and a strong understanding of cloud technologies or NoSQL databases.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure the successful implementation of data-related projects.
  • Analyze and document business processes and data flows to identify opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize key performance indicators and business metrics.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of data models and data structures for efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data management and reporting technologies.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL with experience in complex query writing and optimization.
  • In-depth knowledge of Data Mart and Data Warehouse (DWH) projects, including data modeling, ETL processes, and data governance.
  • Familiarity with BI/Reporting concepts and tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or MicroStrategy.
  • Experience working with cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in business analysis or data management (e.g., CBAP, CDMP).
  • Prior experience in the Investment Banking and Capital Markets domain.
  • Knowledge of financial instruments, trading, and risk management concepts.
