The Engineer’s responsibilities include, but not limited to:


  • Provide oversight and/or support of electrical engineering reviews.
  • Ensure the Basis of Design is complete and comprehensive.
  • Engage with the individual project teams to ensure system selection and designs meet standards and are aligned with operational goals and capacity.
  • Participate in the selection of engineering firms for projects.
  • Provides feedback at each design checkpoint and for relevant submissions.
  • Perform commissioning and project turnover support tasks as required.
  • Compile significant lessons learned to inform development of design standards and operational protocols.


Desired experience:


  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a design electrical engineer
  • Experience with laboratory design or equivalent technical complexity.
  • Must be certified Engineer-in-Training (EIT), LEED AP accredited professional OR Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capacity to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering or related field.
  • Ability to successfully pass a thorough criminal background check
