Position Overview:

As the Assistant Site Manager at the Dairy RNG / Anaerobic Digestion facility, you will play a key role in overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of the plant. Partnering with the Plant Manager, you will manage all aspects of the facility's anaerobic digestion processes and renewable natural gas production, ensuring operations are safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible.


Key Responsibilities:

Operational Oversight

  • Assist the Plant Manager in supervising the daily operations of the anaerobic digestion facility
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements


Production and Efficiency

  • Collaborate with the Plant Manager to optimize renewable natural gas production
  • Monitor performance indicators and implement strategies to enhance production efficiency


Maintenance and Repairs

  • Coordinate maintenance and repair activities to keep equipment and machinery in top condition
  • Provide technical guidance to operators and technicians
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules


Personnell Management

  • Guide and support plant staff, including operators and technicians
  • Assist in training new employees and developing current staff
  • Ensure adherence to safety and operational protocols
  • Participate in hiring & promoting direct reports


Safety and Compliance

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for all employees
  • Stay updated on environmental regulations and ensure compliance


Documentation and Reporting

  • Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to plant operations
  • Provide regular plant performance reports to the Plant Manager


What We're Looking For:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred (technical experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in gas purification/gas processing
  • Experience in RNG, Anaerobic Digestion, or Natural Gas Industry
  • I&C / PLC experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude; ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment
