AFC Industries, Inc. is a female- and minority-owned manufacturer of ergonomic furniture, with a focus on creating long-lasting, high-quality custom products. AFC Industries offers a broad selection of mobile workstations, carts, and wall mounting stations for healthcare, life sciences, universities, audiovisual, defense, security, financial institutions, and other markets. All design and manufacturing of AFC products are done in-house in New York City, providing excellent involvement at every stage from concept to production, with close attention to quality.
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Purchasing Manager located in Berwick, PA. The Purchasing Manager will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, supplies, and equipment, developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, managing inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Strong negotiating and contract management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of supply chain management and inventory control
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
